Austin and Lindsey’s boho garden wedding at Fourth Street Gardens outside Boise, Idaho was one of the sweetest weddings I’ve ever been a part of. It was intimate and sweet- just like their relationship ;). I found out during their engagement photos that they met in math class… and Austin asked for her number so he could “use” her math notes. Which he never used or looked at. Fast forward a bit and Lindsey was the one to ask him out first. They both love the outdoors and they are both extremely close to their families, so when Lindsey asked me if I was available 6 months before her wedding for their garden outdoor wedding, I knew it would be a good fit even if it took us 5 months to meet in real life. 😉 I loved how easy going they were- between Austin’s huge grin that I swear never leaves his face to Lindsey’s naturally sweet personality, it felt like hanging out with pals I’ve known for years.
Lindsey had one of the clearest visions for her wedding that I’ve ever seen from a bride. She handcrafted almost every detail and told me she wanted it to feel elegant and boho, but still feel intimate like a backyard garden party. I love Fourth Street Gardens because of the vast amount of tree cover that makes the lighting perfect, even in the middle of August at 4pm. Although it was smokey from the surrounding wildfires, the smoke added another dimension to their photos. It looked foggy and a little bit moody- which is exactly my style and sometimes hard to achieve in the middle of the hot summer.
I absolutely adored this couple and being a part of their day. Keep checking back… because I have to show off their AMAZING Bogus Basin engagement session, too. 😉
