Kody and Lindsey's Sayulita Mexico Wedding was a boho destination dream. They chose to invite 40 of their closest friends and family to their favorite place in the world to celebrate their marriage. You may recognize these two from their incredible Boise Idaho Engagement Session. Kody and Lindsey call Boise and Mexico home. After purchasing their dream vacation home in Sayulita, Mexico, they started envisioning a destination wedding with just their favorite people. Instead of 200+ guests in Idaho, they invited just 40 to join them in their second home.

Kody and Lindsey met one fateful New Year's Eve. Kody's best friend was dating Lindsey's sister. As soon as Lindsey saw him, she asked her sister who he was and to please introduce them. Shortly after being introduced, they spent the entire night talking completely in awe of one another. Lindsey told me she immediately felt like she had known Kody her entire life. He felt like her best friend the moment they met.

After a couple months of being "just friends", they admitted that they both loved one another. And they never looked back.

Planning a Sayulita Mexico Wedding

Kody and Lindsey both share a love for adventure and travel. They value new experiences and seeing new places together. It only made sense once they started looking at their options for their wedding to bring their 40 favorite people to celebrate them for a full week rather than spend only one day with 200 people in Idaho. Planning an intimate Sayulita Mexico wedding felt right, so they leaned into that feeling!

Lindsey envisioned a colorful, boho wedding with "fun" being at the forefront of their priorities. Lindsey and Kody told their guests to plan to dress in beach casual attire and hoped to have a casual beach wedding vibe. Early on into planning, Lindsey told me she didn't even want to wear a wedding dress because it felt too formal. They truly just wanted to focus on creating memories together for their friends and family!

Lindsey and Kody found their dream venue in the middle of Sayulita on the beach called Playa Secreta. This incredible venue is a boho beach dream. With private beach access for their ceremony, they said I do on the beach. Then, they moved into the gorgeous jungle for their intimate dinner and dance party. The entire venue felt like an oasis. With little cabanas and daybeds, it was cozy and allowed their guests to cuddle up and relax all evening.

I have so many favorite memories from their Sayulita Mexico wedding.

Watching local Sayulita dogs run around the beach at sunset as we took portraits was something I'll never forget.

Lindsey and Kody's special vows made everyone weep.

Sharing a glass of champagne at the ceremony before officially being declared as husband and wife was a fun touch!

Having a first look on the beach outside their condo was also absolutely perfect. A slight cloud cover made the beach feel a little moody and I loved the dramatic rocks contrasted with the sand.

These two are truly the life of the party. Their smiles and love for their people makes them a truly perfect couple. I couldn't imagine a world where they didn't end up together!

Thank you Kody and Lindsey for bringing me all the way with you for your Sayulita Mexico Wedding!
