Teagan and Tom’s fall Bogus Basin Mountain Engagement Session with their super playful pup was the best Thursday evening I’ve had in a while 😉
The moment Teagan emailed me, I felt like I was reading an email from a long lost friend. She emailed me before they had a wedding date, a venue, or a plan. However, we got a beer and went over my approach to photography. I think we spent 15% of the time talking about wedding details and the remaining 85% talking about our lives. Teagan is an avid solo female traveler myself and has also spent a lot of time in her 20’s focusing on her career and friendships. Tom swept her off her feet when they met in a random bar. After covid hit, they decided to take their remote jobs on the road. After roadtripping for a while, they ended up in Boise and decided they loved it so much, they wanted to move here. So they did!
Fast forward a couple months, Teagan and Tom decided to bring all their family and friends to Boise for a destination wedding in 2024. We planned their engagement session for the fall. I promised them that fall was the best season for engagement photos and the colors sure delivered.
Mountain Top Engagement Session at Bogus Basin
These two are passionate about skiing and their dog. Naturally, I decided to bring them to the top of Bogus Mountain for an adventure. Escaping people and crowds, I took them to a favorite sneaky spot of mine. We played fetch with their pup. We drank a couple beers. We chatted non-stop. They laughed almost the entire time.
At sunset, we embarked on another sneaky side road to a rocky section of Bogus I love. It’s a favorite spot of mine because you can see the Sawtooths, the Owyhees, the Seven Devils, and beyond all from one special spot. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous with vibrant hues of pinks, oranges, reds, and purples.
