Alex dreamed of a wedding expo that was inclusive of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Rather than a boring, stuffy event where vendors stand behind a booth, she dreamed of a FUN event where guests felt fully immersed. Live music filled the Treefort Music Hall. Craft cocktails and beer flowed. Vendors mingled with other vendors and hung out with couples. It was truly a blast and her vision was executed perfectly.

Creating a safe, inclusive space where queer couples could feel completely at ease knowing every wedding vendor in the room was either queer or an ally was truly a joy. As a Boise Idaho Event Photographer, I know when events suck. This one absolutely delivered in every way. Seeing so many people collaborate felt euphoric. Queer joy is the best joy! And I felt honored to be a part of it. To have been a small part in inspiring the Boise community to come together for such a successful event feels deeply humbling.
