Taking Sam & Evan’s sweet Boise North End Engagement Photos on a fall day was filled with nostalgia. Whenever I get asked to take couples photos, I ask my couple to describe an ideal date. After asking Sam and Evan how they liked to enjoy quality time together, they said they enjoyed going out to eat at new restaurants, taking walks in their favorite neighborhood, and trying new cafes. Once they told me they loved the historic Boise North End, I knew that was THE spot for photos. As much as possible, I hope to create a lasting memory for every couple behind my camera. Knowing that this is a special place to them was all that mattered.
I have photographed a number of couples’ Boise North End Engagement Photos- yet they all somehow feel different. Every couple has different memories associated with different parts of Hyde Park. This sweet couple met as teenagers. They fell in love young and fast, so it felt fitting for me to take them to the Wildflower Shop. Sam mentioned one of her favorite things about Evan is that he is such a gentleman and is always surprising her. Whether that means showing up with flowers or making coffee just the way she likes it, he knows how to make her feel appreciated. Awwwww! Their love truly feels like a movie.

Without a doubt, fall is the most popular time in Boise for taking engagement photos. However, every season in Boise has something special about it. I love capturing love stories and Boise North End engagement photos all 4 seasons. The colors feel so rich in the fall in Boise proper, but there is something special about early spring in the foothills as well. Also, Boise is surrounded by water so if you love spending time by the lake or river, summer might be the best time for you. I typically recommend scheduling your engagement photos 6-9 months before your wedding.
