Curating Personal Experiences & Connections

I’m Maggie Grace, your destination wedding photographer

If I’m not buying a last minute plane ticket to a new country, I’m at home with my Weiner dogs eating pizza and reading the newest Emily Henry novel. I also crochet my own beanies and grandma square blankets. I’m a diehard unapologetic #Swifitie and I might be the wedding photographer for you if we are on opposing teams at Harry Potter pub trivia. I can also talk about black holes, aviation, The Tudors, true crime, and my dog for hours. I’m an extrovert and an ENFJ.

If I wasn’t a wedding photographer, I would be a librarian or a travel agent.

I am a Destination Wedding Photographer celebrating love stories of all types. No two couples or families are the same and my work centers on celebrating inclusivity. I believe every body and every person is worthy of gorgeous photos. I’m here for you- all you have to do is show up as you are!

Located in Boise, Idaho and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I’m available to hang out with you anywhere.

I support LGBTQ+ rights and BLM.

Boise Family Photographer

I’m not here to just take your photo, I am here to make you feel confident + empowered.

I’ve been taking photos with a disposable camera fromWalgreens since I was a little girl and I’m so happy to live my dream as a destination wedding photographer every day.

Photography matters; it’s the only tangible thing we get to take away from meaningful moments. I believe being IN photos is as important as taking them. Photography has the power to bring you back to a moment from 5,10, 25 years ago instantly. My photography style leans documentary and natural. I do not like to put couples in the exact same pose or create a carbon copy of what I’ve seen on Pinterest or a magazine. Every couple expresses their love differently; and my hope is that you truly SEE yourself in your photos.

THE JOURNEY

2009

Purchased my first SLR camera at 17 years old after using my Canon Powershot point & shoot for years.

I am a Nikon girl throug & through. Once I purchased my first real SLR camera, I was obsessive about photographing everyone I knew. I got hired for my first paid shoot to document a dog’s birthday party in a park for $25.

2012

Photographed my first wedding solo

After 2 years of assisting wedding photographers in Montana and learning everything I could, I shot my first wedding alone in Big Fork Montana. It lit a fire in my heart that has never burnt out.

2014

Graduated with a degree in Human Biology, but decided to move to Boise, Idaho and pursue wedding photography.

No one thought it was a good idea, but I moved to Boise and started my business officially in 2014 after graduating college. Rather than pursue a medical career, I threw myself into photography.

2020

After 6 years as a full time Destination Wedding Photographer, I won the Junebug Top 50 Best Wedding Photos of the Year award.

I was also published in Rocky Mountain Bride, Brides, Junebug Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Chicks, and Dancing With Her in 2020-2021.

2025

Celebrated over 10 years in business as a professional wedding photographer!

The core values that define who I am as a photographer:

Inclusivity + Celebrating ALL people regardless of sex, gender, sexual preference, race, ethnicity, and body type.

Prioritizing the experience of the person or couple in front of the camera. I won’t push you to keep taking photos long after it isn’t fun anymore.

A focus on timeless, true to color images, but not boring or dull

Creating Unique Images From the Heart; not copying direct images from other works of art

Curating real relationships + connections with all vendors, guests, family members, and my clients

Instilling confidence + joy in my clients
