Sam and DJ hired an elopement wedding planner to make their elopement wedding go smoothly. Emily Aitken Events is based in Boise, Idaho, but she has experience planning elevated and intimate events across the country. She is also an LGBTQ Wedding Planner and inclusive. Their top priority as a couple was finding artists and wedding vendors who were inclusive to the LGBTQ community. Finding queer friendly wedding vendors in the midwest can be a challenge, but this couple found a team of queer & LGBTQ wedding vendors and allies.

Maggie Grace Photography Wedding vendors can make or break the day. We are very fortunate that Maggie is an absolute dream. She was not only our photographer but was our cheerleader and rock for the whole weekend. Maggie kept us steady and answered all our questions weeks before our wedding. It helped that she was also a dear friend who photographed my maid of honor’s wedding, so it was super easy to get comfortable with her, which showed in our photos. We are so glad we hired a destination elopement photographer for our day. Not only did she scout photo locations ahead of time, but she made us feel SO comfortable and all our guests loved her. She was the best photographer for our Kansas City Elopement. Maggie went above and beyond for us. – Sam & DJ
