When these hilarious + carefree ladies asked me to take their LGBTQ WLW Engagement Photos in the Tetons, I screamed. Of COURSE! I actually can’t imagine anything more fun than spending time with two women in love. Seriously. Their love is absolutely magnetic and I felt ecstatic to be trusted enough to take their couples photos. After explaining to me that they were moving away from the Rocky Mountains, I knew we needed to capture them in the place where their love originated. Before moving down to California, we spent a perfect summer evening together. Their LGBTQ WLW Engagement Photos turned into multiple laughing fits, a few nostalgic tears, and undeniable joy.

As a talented filmmaker herself, the pressure to create artistic, compelling photos wasn’t insignificant. Liv is an amazing creator of lovely wedding films and couples’ love stories. Of course, after capturing dozens of weddings together, watching her fall in love with another artist felt like a gift. It’s not everyday you get to watch two people you’ve known separately find one another and fall in love!

Best Locations in the Tetons for Engagement Photos

Finding the best spots to take engagement photos is hard enough, but finding a private location to take LGBTQ WLW Engagement Photos was another task. I offered to drive this sweet couple in my badass Jeep to find an off-roading spot up in the mountains where we wouldn’t find a soul. Of course, the day of our shoot ended up being smokey. But! The wildflowers were out in full abundance and so so beautiful!
