It has been a few years since I worked with Sprout Design on Bailey and Mike’s McCall Wedding at Shore Lodge, but their wedding will always be a highlight for me. Featured on Rocky Mountain Bride‘s McCall Wedding Planning Guide, these two made a splash after their wedding was over. I will never forget their perfect summer wedding in the Idaho Rocky Mountains. Bailey and Mike dreamed about celebrating with their favorite people in the town where Bailey grew up for over a year as they planned their wedding. I love when the opportunity to work with Sam Grey from Sprout Design crosses my inbox. We worked together on Kim and Joey’s incredible Stillwater Hollow Wedding, so teaming up again in McCall was a blast!

Most people who live in Idaho know that McCall is one of the best places to visit in our amazing state. McCall is a tiny mountain town located right on the shores of Payette Lake. With a population of only 3,000 residents, the town is completely walkable and very popular with tourists in the summer. I have shot over 40 weddings in McCall, Idaho alone. And there is nothing like being in McCall in the middle of the summer on a sunny day. As a McCall Wedding Photographer, there are countless niche locations I love to take clients for epic photos. Knowing where the best photo locations in McCall for wedding portraits is so important as a photographer because the town fills up fast. Finding a small, private beach or wooded area is no easy task in the summer!
