Moab Utah Elopement

There is no better place for an adventurous loving couple to get married than Moab Utah Elopement.

Blake and Kelsey live in an adventure camper full time. Their jobs allow them to work remotely around the country, so rather than tie themselves down to one spot, they decided to take their love and relationship on the road. It only made sense when they started planning their wedding to pick somewhere they loved. A Moab Utah elopement suited these desert lovers perfectly. They spend their winters in Southern Utah and Arizona so they love spending time among desert landscapes.

Arches National Park Elopement Photographer

Kelsey trusted me fully to plan their elopement day around epic locations. I knew right away that I wanted to take them to my favorite Utah National Park: Arches National Park. It’s extremely easy to get married in Arches National Park! To get married, first you must apply for a permit at least 4 weeks before your wedding date. The application fee costs $185 plus entrance to the park. There are 6 approved locations within the park where you are allowed to hold a ceremony for up to 80 people. For special locations, you may inquire about getting special permission. Park avenue is a perfect spot for a panoramic view of the orange rocks and landscape. I chose park avenue for Blake and Kelsey’s epic first look spot!

All Day Elopement Photography Package

I highly recommend couples hire me for more than 2-3 hours on their elopement day when they get married in a national park. Why? There are so many incredible landscapes and locations to take photos in national parks. The options are endless. The best thing about eloping is that you can spend the entire day exploring and sharing new experiences together. Blake and Kelsey hired me and chose my all day elopement photography package to capture sunrise to sunset!

We started their Moab Utah elopement at sunrise with a first look at Park Avenue. Sunrise is the best time to avoid tourists and high traffic! And even though the weather was stormy, the moody backdrop made the orange rock pop. I love the stormy moody purple skies as well. We took a few photos documenting their morning together in Arches National Park before bundling up for the ceremony.

Elopement Ceremony and Personal Vows

If you’re looking for an adventure elopement officiant, Jen with Wild Heart Weddings was the perfect choice. Jenn met up with us at the stunning canyon overlook for Kelsey and Blake’s vow exchange and ceremony. She absolutely knocked the ceremony out of the park and made us all so emotional with her sweet words. As the sun was setting and Kelsey and Blake’s dogs sat at their feet, they committed their love to one another. Every few seconds, the sun would change, illuminating a different part of the landscape. It couldn’t possibly have been more beautiful.

Golden Hour Moab Elopement Photos

The last thing on their elopement day agenda was golden hour portraits overlooking Dead Horse Point. Kelsey brought a snuggly rust colored blanket to snuggle under and I captured some sweet moments of the two enjoying the beauty of their elopement day. I love giving couples the opportunity to soak in the moment with a little downtime. We watched the sun go down all together and it was truly one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.
