Kate and Dave’s Warfield Distillery Rehearsal Dinner and welcome party in Sun Valley Idaho was a night to remember. Treating their guests to custom cocktails, panoramic views overlooking Mt. Baldy, delicious bites, and a cozy rooftop to party kicked off an incredible wedding weekend. As a destination wedding photographer living in Idaho, I always say that Sun Valley is the best of Idaho. For guests traveling from afar, Sun Valley offers an unforgettable vacation and immersive experience. Although Sun Valley can be hard to reach, the reward is getting a personal experience in the Idaho Rocky Mountains. Unlike our neighboring states with overcrowded touristy towns, Idaho feels undiscovered, authentic, and one of a kind. For couples choosing to share their wedding weekend in Sun Valley, I can’t recommend a Warfield Distillery Rehearsal Dinner enough!
Intimate Rehearsal Dinner in the Warfield Dining Room
To kick off the weekend full of events, Kate and Dave invited just their family and wedding party to their private rehearsal dinner. The exceptional staff at Warfield prepared a personalized menu for their intimate rehearsal dinner. The extra personal menu included their favorite foods and delicious locally sourced meats. Shortly after dinner was served, Kate and Dave’s family members and wedding party gave toasts. These two opted to share their toasts at their Warfield Distillery rehearsal dinner rather than at their wedding to keep things more intimate. Their lovely friends and family delivered beautiful speeches that set the tone for a warm, joyful weekend of celebrating their love. It felt perfect and authentic to who they are as a couple. Saving time on their wedding day for dancing and celebrating with all their people meant that their rehearsal dinner felt extra special and unique!
Welcome Party on the Warfield Distillery Rooftop!
Throwing a destination wedding in the Idaho Rocky Mountains meant one thing: western attire. Most of their guests traveled from the East Coast or Texas. So the opportunity to wear their cowboy boots, hats, and mountain fashion felt thrilling. After dinner, all of their 120 guests were welcomed to the rooftop for a Western themed welcome party! The western fashion truly delivered. Guests arrived as the sun set over downtown Sun Valley. And to make things more personal, Kate and Dave treated their guests to a special welcome bag. Their Sun Valley welcome bags included local treats! Handmade candles, Idaho Spud Potatoes, hangover remedies, trail maps, and more. Every effort to make their guests feel welcome in Sun Valley was so special. Observing their guests take in the view was amazing. I love watching out of town guests take in all the beauty of Sun Valley.
