I’ve known this amazing couple for several years, so when they asked me to be a part of their Big Sur Maternity Photoshoot, I nearly cried with joy! These two are the real deal. After more than twelve years together as a couple and seven years of marriage, they have experienced so much life together. From moves across the country to career changes and now parenthood, I can’t think of two people better suited to become parents. Their love is infectious. I love being around couples who still laugh and giggle after YEARS together. To me, that is the secret sauce of relationships. And these two just have it.

Dreamy Photoshoot Locations in Big Sur California

If you’ve been around long enough, you might remember I moved to Big Sur in 2021. I lived in the heart of Big Sur for 8 months. And it was truly some of the best months of my life. Living at the beach, driving the Pacific Coast Highway daily, and exploring new beach hikes was a dream. I created some magical memories here. When Malcom and Amanda asked if I had any ideas for their Big Sur Maternity Photoshoot, I told them I had hundreds of ideas. Finding secret beaches was my life’s mission during my time in California, so I knew I wanted to give them a magical experience at a quiet beach. Sure enough, we planned their shoot on a day it was supposed to be rainy. However, as we drove through the Redwoods and emerged at Garrapata State Park, the rain and fog lifted. Instead, we were treated to full sun. It felt like a gift for these two to get a truly magical January sunset at the beach!
