Meridian Idaho Family Photos

Since 2018, I have taken the King Meridian Idaho Family Photos. This amazing family first hired me way back in 2019 to take their maternity photos. I met Stacey through a mutual friend and we instantly clicked. We connected right away over being female business owners. However, what really inspired me about Stacey is her commitment to her community and giving back through her business. Every single sale she makes contributes to a local Boise Idaho non-profit. Fun fact: I bought my perfect Boise house on the Boise Bench in 2018 from Stacey! I admire the way she runs her business and balances her work/home life so much. She’s also an amazing friend, super sassy, confident, and genuinely the kindest person ever. The first time I took photos for the Kings, we met up on an early spring day for Stacey’s maternity photos. It was pouring rain outside, yet these two handled it like champs. The next time I photographed them, I photographed their newest family member. Taking Graham’s newborn photos was also a bit chaotic as he definitely had a lot of sass as a newborn 😉 Luckily, Stacey has continued to trust me and taking their Meridian Idaho Family photos keeps getting easier and easier. Graham has grown into such a fun kid and I’m so honored to have documented his life every year as he grows up.

Fall Family Photos in Idaho

When I photograph the same families over and over again each year, one question I get is how to continue finding variety and creativity. However, I don’t focus on picking brand new locations each year for the sake of creativity. I believe that if you focus on creating important memories first and foremost, the creativity will follow. Stacey suggested for their 5th year of family photos in a row that we go to the place they go on walks as a family almost daily. It’s 5 minutes from their house and meaningful to them. So, that’s exactly what we did! I met them at their house and together we all walked the trail behind their house to the river.
