Last summer, I met Aaron and Aly on a perfect June evening for their Stanley Idaho Summer Engagement Session. This amazing couple hired me for their wedding and engagement photos. When planning their engagement shoot, we knew there was only one location for their photos. Stanley is one of Aaron and Aly's favorite places in the world. It's the place they camp every summer together and with their best family and friends. Because their wedding is also in the mountains, we wanted to continue their mountain wedding theme with an adventure session in the Sawtooths!
If you have been following along, you know Stanley is one of my favorite places to shoot elopements, weddings, and couple's sessions. You simply can't find any location in Idaho with more stunning landscapes. Personally, early summer in Stanley is my favorite time of year. If you're trying to decide when you should plan your Stanley Idaho Summer engagement session, here you have it. The mountains look gorgeous with snow still left on the mountain peaks in late May and early June. Plus, the lush green landscape and sage is stunning before it gets too dry in the high desert!
Aly and Aaron's love story began where all good modern love stories do: on Bumble. However, they were actually introduced by friends first. One fateful night, they were all having drinks in downtown Boise when they were introduced. A few days later, they matched on Bumble. After both swiping right, they went on a date and five years later, they are still madly in love. My favorite thing about these two is their effortless friendship. They are best friends first! These two love their dog, love wine, live music, and family.
I can't wait for their amazing June wedding at my favorite wedding venue in Idaho, Sixty Chapel. Aly and Aaron's full weekend long festival style wedding is going to be such a blast this summer!
