Tom and Teagan’s sleek Hotel Renegade Boise Wedding Venue was the perfect backdrop to host a destination wedding for all their family and friends. These two midwesterners met the old fashioned way: at a bar. Tom and his friends had a weekly tradition on Saturday nights called “shoot your shot Saturday”. Each Saturday, they would find the most beautiful person at a bar and attempt to ask them out. On one special Saturday night, Teagan was with her friends at the same bar Tom was at with his friends. He noticed Teagan right away because she had a Hawaiian shirt on and so did he. He successfully complimented her and they ended up spending the rest of the night talking. At 3am, they ate greasy food in a diner before saying goodnight. The rest is history.

Tom and Teagan’s love story traversed from Wisconsin to Idaho in 2020. Because they both worked remotely, the pair decided to go on a multi month long road trip to explore the west. They had both dreamed of moving closer to the mountains. Along the way, they made a stop in Boise, Idaho. What was supposed to be a weekend trip turned into a full month of exploring. They fell in love with Boise Idaho and decided to call it home!
When trying to decide where to get married, Tom and Teagan realized the only way they could convince all their Midwest friends to come to Boise was to get married in Boise. As a Boise Idaho Wedding Photographer, I was thrilled when Teagan reached out to me about photographing their wedding. She knew they wanted to keep their wedding within downtown Boise to make it easy for all their family and friends visiting. They ended up deciding to choose to have a Hotel Renegade Boise Wedding Venue and the Boise Train Depot. Showing off the best of Boise all in one day!
