Boise Idaho Wedding at The Victory Gardens
When same-sex couple Ashley and Emily reached out to me about their Boise, Idaho wedding, I felt like we’d known one another forever. These two share a love for young adult literature, creative writing, poetry, Taylor Swift, all things “cute”, coffee, and animals. Also, they are both under 5’3″ and have glasses (just like me!). While hanging out with them, I felt like I could be completely myself. Three peas in a pod 😉
Same Sex Wedding in Boise Idaho
Finding LGBTQ Boise Wedding Vendors can be a challenge for queer couples. I created a resource guide here, which is how Ashley and Emily found me! They told me their priority was finding a team of wedding vendors who they felt completely safe around. Couples deserve to express themselves freely every day, but especially on their wedding day. Their amazing team of vendors included the Victory Gardens, which is a gorgeous plant nursery and coffee shop outside of Boise. Only recently did Victory Gardens start hosting weddings. The lush gardens set the scene for their garden inspired Brigerton-esque wedding!
Planning a Unique Wedding
Emily and Ashley dreamed of a less traditional, unique wedding venue in Boise. They originally started by reaching out to coffee shops, unique event spaces, gardens, wineries, breweries, and more. Originally, their vision of a coffee shop wedding felt natural because they love coffee. The District Coffee House in Boise Idaho does offer rentals for weddings once the shop is closed after 2pm! Then, they had a slight hiccup and had to pivot. After reviewing their Boise wedding venue options, they pivoted and started reaching out to plant nurseries and gardens. The Victory Gardens in Boise, Idaho was available and willing to host their wedding! Don’t be afraid to reach out to “out of the box” wedding venues!
