Find the Best Boise Idaho LGBTQ Wedding Vendors for an Authentic Experience
Boise Idaho LGBTQ Wedding Vendors! *UPDATED IN 2026*
Are you looking for the best Boise Idaho LGBTQ Wedding Vendors? In a conservative state like Idaho that historically targets and discriminates against the LGBTQ community, it is traumatic and challenging to go through the wedding vendor search process as a queer person. The reality is that in 2024, it takes a lot of work to find wedding vendors who serve the LGBTQ community.
This list has been updated in 2026 with the recent updates that the owner of Stone Crossing Wedding Venue is extremely anti-LGBTQ and created the Hetero-Awesome Fest in 2025. I would absolutely not recommend booking with Stone Crossing under any circumstance. Mark Fitzpatrick also owns Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho and perpetuates violence in the community against immigrants, BIPOC, and queer & trans people.
My goal when I created this list is to include wedding vendors who are not just “LGBTQ friendly”, but are queer or allies themselves and advocate for the civil and human rights for the LGBTQ community. I continually update this list every year to ensure the Boise Idaho LGBTQ wedding vendors I’ve included are safe people. There seems to be a gray area with wedding vendors of people who will still serve people and take their money, but behind the scenes don’t approve of or support their marriage. This list includes people who consistently work with queer couples, use inclusive language on their website/portfolio, and are advocates in the community.

3. Venues in Idaho
Sixty Chapel This sweet family owned wedding venue is located one hour outside Boise. Alex & Willie moved to Idaho from San Francisco and dreamed of a wedding venue that was modern, updated, and felt like family. Their progressive views are a breath of fresh air in Boise. Sixty Chapel is an incredible space and is unique because you can bring all your family and friends with you to stay for an entire weekend on the property. They have tiny cabins, glamping tents, and even a camper on site to fit up to 50 of your favorite people!
Trica Castle North End in Boise:
I have nothing but positive things to say about The Trica Castle in Boise’s North End. This Boise Wedding Venue has a clean, all white interior space that feels clean and elegant. The architecture is stunning and the best part is that it’s located less than a mile from downtown Boise. They are an amazing Idaho wedding venue and also offer community events year round.
I have photographed several queer weddings at the city operated Boise Train Depot. The views from the top of the Bench are incredible with panoramic views of downtown Boise, the foothills, and Bogus. And the Boise Train Depot is operated by the City of Boise, which is LGBTQ+ friendly and happy to serve the community.
Pilgrim Cove Camp & Conference Center Located in McCall, Idaho, Pilgrim Cove Camp is an amazing rustic camp that hosts limited weddings every summer. This venue is also unique because you can rent it for an entire weekend for everyone you love to stay on the property! The entire facility is located on the beach and you can have your ceremony and party on the water, or nestled in the forest. It’s a stunning location and managed by incredibly caring, devoted people.
Idaho Botanical Garden If you are dreaming of a Boise wedding, the Botanical Gardens is located in the heart of Boise. Idaho Botanical Garden’s is a non-profit and privately owned location. The foundation continually supports the Boise community and fosters an inclusive, open-minded community.
White Barn at Happy Valley Road This sweet rustic barn has modern amenities, a gorgeous getting ready suite, an outdoor space, and it’s within 30 minutes of Boise. The owners are incredible humans and they are caring and attentive owners. They restored the barn themselves and have been passionate advocates for both the BLM movement and LGBTQ+ rights.
Scandia Inn in McCall, Idaho! This new venue hit the wedding scene in 2020 and is a hidden gem. This amazing new venue offers a modern, fresh, and clean space and lodging on site. That means your wedding party and family and guests can stay mere feet from your ceremony and reception space. The venue offers an outdoor lawn for an outdoor or indoor ceremony and also has an indoor venue hall. It’s rare to find a venue in Idaho that offers both indoor and outdoor spaces which is clutch in case of random Idaho storms 😉
*** I would NOT recommend reaching out to this Boise Wedding Venue. Stone Crossing does NOT allow queer people to get married at this venue***
4. Wedding Florists
Rust & Thistle Emily is a Southern California transplant who moved to Boise several years ago to bring her etherial, one of a kind, unique artistry to the Treasure Valley. Emily cares deeply about serving her community and is committed to serving her clients’ needs above all else.

5. DJs & Music
Rhode’s Entertainment Eric has a very successful following and loyal fanbase in Boise primarily because he is the most laid-back and professional DJ in the entire Treasure Valley. He knows how to keep a party going all night, but he is also happy to take requests and make sure all your least favorite songs never get played 😉 I adore working with Eric as well because he’s like a built in reception wedding planner. He is always on top of the schedule and helps keep the evening structured and on time!
DJ Dave is available all over Idaho. I’ve worked with him in McCall, Sun Valley, and beyond. He’s professional and extremely knowledgeable about weddings.
Directly Driven DJ I love how organized, efficient, and easy all of Directly Driven’s DJs are. They are upbeat, positive, and fun to work with. This amazing team is great at hyping up a crowd! I’ve worked at weddings in the pouring rain in McCall and seen them keep people happy and entertained on the dance floor.

6. Cakes
7. Catering
Horsewood Catering I recommend Horsewood Catering every opportunity I can. One of my favorite fun facts about Horsewood is that in their process of working with you, they will send a full detailed survey and ask for your favorite songs/music. Why? Because as they prep your customized menu, they will listen to your favorite music to honor you as they prepare your meals for your event. Their family style approach feels warm, approachable, and so personal. They also style their food themselves with gorgeous wood serving boards and platters.
Wild Plum Events I’ve been lucky enough to work with Wild Plum several times. They are as kind and compassionate as human beings as they are talented at creating amazing feasts.

8. Wedding Dress Shops
BB Bridal Every time a client of mine starts to rave about their experience at a wedding dress boutique, I already know they are talking about BB Bridal. BB Bridal is my #1 recommendation in the Treasure Valley because every person who walks out of their boutique is glowing with praise. I absolutely recommend that anyone shopping for a gown stop in at BB Bridal for a personalized experience and zero pressure to purchase a gown the day of your appointment. They are less sales-y and pushy and just want to make every person that walks through their doors happy!
Kate’s Cottage Kate’s Bridal Cottage is exactly what it sounds like- one little bungalow owned by Kate who has a curated collection of stunning gowns that range from timeless chic to boho. Kate is by appointment only and only accepts one client at a time so you truly get a private shopping experience. My clients RAVE about how they loved that they didn’t have to feel self conscious shopping in her cottage and felt like they could be themselves and celebrate in the moment!
Daci’s Gowns Boise is truly so lucky to have Daci here. She is a one of a kind artisan and designer who creates her own designs here in the Treasure Valley. If you are looking for something made just for you, you can hire Daci to create a completely custom gown made for YOUR body and your style. Her hand-dyed silks are imported from around the world and custom lace work is truly remarkable.
